The trend of high geopotential heights continues, with temperatures remaining elevated between 24 and 28°C.

2. 850hpa

Due to the influence of a tropical depression (TD) over the southern sea, warm and humid air is slowly approaching from the south, maintaining stagnant conditions that allow radiant heat to accumulate and warm air to be trapped.

The area remains under the influence of high pressure, similar to the previous day, with temperatures higher at night than during the day.

2. Wind

Over the Korean Peninsula, a anticyclonic flow persists along with westerly winds.

Streamlines are relatively widely spaced, indicating weak airflow.

This flow induces subsidence, creating stable atmospheric conditions that favor the accumulation of radiant heat.

3. Precipitation/ Humidity

There is a possibility of heavy rains in Gyeonggi, Gangwon and Chungcheong provinces and showers are expected across the Korean Peninsula. If there is a continuous southwest wind, a thunderstorm with strong winds may appear

4. Cloud

1. Northern Korean Peninsula (northern Gangwon to central North Korea):

Bright and dense upper-level clouds have been observed → Strong upward motion and precipitation activity expected.

2. Central to southern inland regions (Chungcheong, Jeolla, Gyeongsang):

Scattered mid- to low-level clouds of moderate brightness have been observed → High possibility of shower development.
